RESEARCH ON MOODSTRATIFICATION.EU
MOODSTRATIFICATION.EU is about research on imbalances in the immune system as a cause for mood disorders. The hypothesis is that major mood disorders are the result of a systemic abnormal condition of imbalances in the T cell system and a proneness to inflammation.
IMPACT FOR PATIENTS: A future scenario
It’s a realistic scenario that in the 2020’s we will be able to give a personalised treatment to patients with psychiatric disorders like depressions, based on the immune signatures in these patients. Four (fictive) cases illustrate what could be the impact of the current research.
